pH meter Kegland
Digital pH meter Kegland
Water resistant design
We know what you brewers are like. When you buy this device, you're going to throw it into a pool of disinfectant as soon as you buy it. That's why we made this device water and splash resistant.
Digital three-point calibration
Cheaper pH meters only have one or two point calibration. In brewing, we often work in the high range, up to 2.5 when testing a sanitizing solution, and high when testing caustic cleaners. Also, we need the pH meter to be accurate in the average brewing range. Therefore, we have a triple point calibration. Calibration is fully digital and can be done in 60 seconds. No calibration screws to turn or anything like that. Simply place the pH meter in the supplied buffer solution and press the calibration button. It's very simple.
Replaceable electrode
Home brewing puts a lot of strain on the electrodes. Especially if you're testing hot wort straight from the mash vat. If you know anything about pH meters, you know that it's easy to damage the electrodes in the brewing environment, which tend to fail over time. Why spend all this money on a good quality pH meter if you can't replace the electrode. This pH meter has a replaceable electrode, so if it gets damaged you can simply remove it and replace it with a new one.
Buffer solution is added
This meter includes 3 packs of buffer solution. Just add water and store in a glass jam jar and the buffer will last almost forever.
Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC)
Any good quality pH meter you buy will have ATC installed. This additional feature means that the probe needs to have a small temperature sensor at the end to compensate for high or low temperatures.
Waterproof cover
The main reason why pH meters begin to fail over time is improper storage. If the pH meter is left with a dry probe, the KCL solution evaporates through the glass membrane. This will result in incorrect pH readings. Our pH meter lid has an o-ring and seals water tight. To keep the electrode in the best possible condition, we recommend that you clean it with water, then store it in KCL storage solution inside the cap, then close the cap tightly to seal it. This will keep the readings accurate for a long time.
