American Pale Ale (APA) with American Talus hops. SMASH is an abbreviation of the English name Single Malt And Single Hop. This is a set of single malt and single hop beers. Formerly known as HBC 692, the newly named Talus is an aromatic hop designed for late-boil and dry hop use. It provides an intense hop aroma that is perfect for IPAs and other hoppy beers. Talus hops have notes of grapefruit, flowers, stone fruit, potpourri, wood, cream, pine and resin.
