Columbus has a bright hop flavor, deep aroma and restrained citrus notes - perfect for dual use. Columbus hops are mostly used at the end of the brew and when fresh have a herbal flavor with lemony citrus notes. Can be used for a variety of styles, especially American ales. Substitutions: Tomahawk and Zeus hops are genetically similar, so they can be substituted for Columbus hops with minimal effect on the final beer.
