Kölsch is a unique style of beer originating in the German city of Cologne. It combines the characteristics of both ale and lager, and is often referred to as the “third way of beer.” Kölsch has a clean, refreshing taste, with a light malty sweetness and a subtle hop bitterness. It has some fruity aromas, especially citrus.
